10/5: Finish classwork and review your vocabulary: Open up your Digital Writing Portfolio in Google Slides. Add a new slide. Put today’s date and the following prompt. Then, answer it. Compose a personal narrative describing your most embarrassing moment or a time when you felt ashamed or humiliated. You can substitute another person—such as a parent, friend or completely fictional person—for yourself, but please use first-person point of view for the story’s narration. In the story, include all five components of plot (exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution).

  • Loose-leaf paper

  • Coloring Utensils
  • Highlighters
  • Spiral notebook with at least 100 pages
  • Flash drive (this will be used for all classes)
  • Agenda (which students will be given)
  • Donations of tissues, hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, paper towels, glue sticks, and any other classroom supplies would be greatly appreciated!
